About me

Welcome here! I am User:Byrial at the Danish Wikipedia (dawiki) and some other Wikimedia wikis.

I have made offline reports (i.e. various analyses of dumps of the database) for and about dawiki since 2005. You can see an always updated list of them at [[ da:User:Byrial/Offline rapporter]] (in Danish).

I will maybe be able to help you if you want some sort of analysis or statistics about a particular wiki. An analysis could look at:

Links to and from pages
Links to not-written pages (red links)
Links to redirect pages, double rediredists, bad redirects
Links to and from disambiguation pages
Links to and from stub pages
Use of templates
Use of external links
Use of images
Categorization of articles and categories
Interwiki links to and from a page
Comparisons of pages with interwiki links to each other

My toolserver services

linkcount

The little service linkcount can count the number of links from a Wikipedia article and tell how many of them are to yet-to-be-written pages (red links). It also tells which namespaces are linked to, and it can list all links to redirect pages and to disambiguation pages.

The output format is still rather crude and will be improved later.
