Damien Oliver has won the [[Racing Victoria Limited]] [[Scobie Breasley Medal]] four times and shared the medal on two occasions.

On 22 September 2010, Oliver pulled out of rides at a Sandown meeting, while helping police with their inquiries into a criminal investigation.ref

In 2011, [[The Cup (2011 film)|]], a biopic starring [[Stephen Curry (comedian)|]], was released. It covered Oliver's relationships with his family and the 2002 Melbourne Cup win on Media Puzzle.

In 2012, Oliver was accused of placing a $10,000 bet on a rival horse to beat a horse he was riding in the same race.ref He was subsequently dropped from the -owned [[Green Moon]] in the Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup.ref On November 13 Oliver was formally charged with the alleged offence.ref
