When [[Howard the Duck]] was taken prisoner, Fifi went to comfort him, offering him ''"les beans et les franks"'' to eat, and offered him a cigar. Freebooter lost his carefree attitude and became more withdrawn, but he still fought the forces of evil in her honor.
