User edit counter

Welcome to the edit counter. This tool shows a user's total contributions, as well as some statistics about them. Things to note:

• Due to legal concerns, several features have been turned off until a lawyer can be consulted to ensure that the tool complies with German privacy laws.
• A user's edit count does not reflect on the value of their contributions to Wikipedia.
• The total edit count does not include deleted edits.
• Editcountitis can be fatal.
• If replication lag is too high, you may wish to use an external edit counter, such as "wannabe_kate".
• Automated mass querying of the edit counter is not allowed.
• Problems can be reported at User talk:Interiot.
• If you have comments about the benefits or drawbacks of the daily/weekly graphs, feel free to comment here.
• If you'd like to opt-out of the daily/weekly graphs, please email me your username. The opt-out list is strictly confidential, and will never be used for any other purpose.

Aggregated data on user edits for all users of Wikimedia projects is made available to the general public under the terms of the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy. No data is available via the "edit counter" which is not already available via the "user contributions" pages on the wiki itself, or as part of the periodic database dumps. If you do not wish your edit data to be made publically available, you should not make any edits or contributions to Wikimedia projects.

"The Edit Count is as a road," replied the Zen master. "You must travel the road to reach your destination, and some may travel longer roads than others. But do not judge the person at your door by the length of the road he has travelled to reach you."
