I'm User:Mike.lifeguard.
I use the toolserver to run a few IRC bots, along with some other users.
That project is known as stewardbots. In
addition, I run statusbot on my own account.
My SVN
repository has several client-side javascripts, plus the code and
related shell scripts for statusbot. However, you're probably most
interested in remote.js, which many users include for
their work on small wikis. If you
haven't created ~730 user script pages yet, you can have them created
automatically for you by Pathoschild's
bot.
Special:EmailUser/Mike.lifeguard#wikimedia-stewards,
or /msg memoserv send Mike_lifeguard <your memo here> on freenode<username>@toolserver.org - my username is shown after the tilde
(~) in the URLI've published the PGP key I use for mailing lists and other Wikimedia-related email, as well as my SSH public key.
My crontab is mirrored daily.
The start-bot and
truncate-log scripts are best
documented at the stewardbots pages, or use the --help option.
