GLAMorous pictures

A tool tracking and summarizing the views of all the pages that are using images that are in a Commons category.

The tool is scanning a given category up to the depth-th sub-category and, in a first step, displays a detailed usage over the different Wikimedia projects. In a second step, it collects the number of page views on each article, sums it up and provides therefore a reliable estimate of how often pictures on Commons are actually viewed by anonumoud users on Wikimedia projects.

This tool is very slow! It looks up the page views for each individual article from stats.grok.se. If you want it faster we need the page access statistics in an more easy accessible way.
